Our stimulus teaching programme is integrated with termly assessments. At the end of each term pupils are assessed based on the national curriculum and skills set. The familiarisation tests are set out to prepare our pupils to sit the Common Entrance and GCSE Examinations.
Pupils are given the opportunity to sit our familiarisation tests ahead of scheduled mock tests in their mainstream schools. This is purposefully set out to give us a value insight into individual’s current ability as they work towards any examinations.
Most importantly it enables us to redress any grey areas for improvement and an opportunity to provide our students who are ‘at risks’ individual Learning Support (ILS).
