Teacher of Mathematics – (part-time)

We wish to appoint a talented, inspirational and highly motivated Mathematician who is able to teach to GCSE level.

Teaching Assistant – (part-time)

We are looking to appoint a talented, inspirational and highly motivated classroom Teaching Assistant who is able to support ‘at risk’ pupils during lessons to cope with the pace of teaching.

You must possess a pass grade in GCSE Mathematics and English Language. The suitable candidate will also be required to prepare lesson plans, schemes of work in readiness to step in during absences.

The successful candidate must be willing to work at odd times when required. He/she will be a proactive team member who is supportive, vibrant and committed to quality learning for all students across the curriculum and celebrates individual achievement and exceptional academic success.

PA to Headteacher – (part time)

To lead and co-ordinate on the procurement and delivery of the school’s administration within the curriculum programme, ensuring that specification, quality, deadline and budget targets and any other relevant requirements are met.

To lead, co-ordinate and develop contacts with schools, pupils, parents and other external stakeholders.

To deputise for the Head in her absence. Dealing sensitively with a range of confidential, complex and contentious correspondence; dealing efficiently and effectively with any issues requiring immediate attention.

To manage and control the school’s budget and undertake research, collect and analyse data to develop policy and project planning.

To manage project meetings, including all associated administration processes, ensuring that all meetings are organised, meeting notes accurately recorded in accordance with corporate and statutory requirements.

To take a lead role in organising and co-ordinating termly examinations, mark exams papers and collate statement of results.

To project manage the end-to-end processes of school events and residential trips.

To keep abreast with new legislation, central Government policies, Local Authority policies and practices and any external factors relevant to the National Education Agenda and National Curriculum.
