Mary Kunadu is currently the Director and Principal of Ephsol Education Ltd. Her research study on the EdD programme in 2005 at UCL Institute of Education which focused on Value Added Measures in Further Education has propelled her to take up this role.
She has combined her wealth of managerial expertise from corporate with her academic career to lead Ephsol Education for the past years.
In 2004, Mary was appointed Project Director by the Learning and Skills Council where she spearheaded three FE Colleges in South London to project manage the development and implementation of value-added measures in all three colleges. Her research and professional practice focused on promoting quality across a range of courses at all levels; implementing new systems all designed to improve learners’ performance in the critical area of student’s retention, success and progression onto Higher Education. Mary’s role in Further Education enabled her to provide a wide range of consultancy to Government and other stakeholder organisations.
Prior to her role in education, Mary worked in BT for twelve years where she held several management roles, focusing on strategy, human resources, project and programme management. Mary’s exceptional delivery of end to end projects and dealing with senior management gained her credibility and recognition for the successful management and implementation of new areas of businesses in the telecoms market.
